Sometimes it’s really hard to design a masculine card. So when I finally craft one I like, I make it in lots of flavors. The depicted saying is for father’s day but I’ve also made this card with Happy Birthday, Get Well Soon, Thinking of You, and Thank You. So…the trick to using fun flock is to know that it’s slightly transparent and to WORK with its transparent nature. I stamped the horse image onto glossy white cardstock using palette Cognac ink. I let it dry for a minute, then I overstamped the horse image using the Tsuneiko’s Essential Glue Pad and immediately sprinkled/pressed/smooshed the fun flock onto the gluey image. BECAUSE it’s glossy paper, the glue works great with the fun flock. We made this card in our May sassy stamping class and my fun flock still hasn’t rubbed off. I do notice if I use the Essential Glue Pad on non-coated cardstock (i.e. matte cardstock or textured cardstock), the fun flock has a tendency to rub off a little.

This IS a great guy card, and as you said, it’s a great card for all occasions. I copy and pasted this one as a keeper, so when I’m looking at my “good samples” for an idea or card to copy I’ll have this in my stash !
I love this card! I never purchased that set but I’m intrigued by it every time
I see it used.
