C4C297 ODBDSLC249 Happy Birthday, Dear

White embossed image from Silhouette Highlands by Sheena Douglass. Background floating alcohol ink by KellyRae Cooper.

I practice lots of techniques and keep the pieces in a drawer ‘for later.’ This particular background was created by floating alcohol ink drops on water and then smooshing the glossy paper facedown into the ink. It just begged for a white embossed image, don’t you think? Something nice and solid against the bright colors. I used my alphabet rotary stamp from SU to personalize the happy birthday sentiment for my dear hubby. He really liked it :)
